The Bridge Restaurant & Lounge
The The Bridge Restaurant & Lounge tee features a design found only at Dubuque Clothing Co., printed on a premium tee with soft, high-quality inks built to last.
The Bridge opened in 1961 at 35 Locust Street after Leo Diener bought Helen's Restaurant from Helen Cahill, running it with his son Joe until the restaurant and its adjoining lounge later recombined into one business. John and Teresa Hall took over around 1976 and built it into a full supper-club destination over the following decade, weathering a brief 1992 closure caused by highway construction before reopening with expanded parking. The Bridge kept serving Dubuque diners for over six decades, right up through its final brunch on Easter Sunday, 2024.
