The King of Club's Vintage T-Shirt features a design found only at Dubuque Clothing Co., printed on a premium tee with soft, high-quality inks built to last.
The King of Clubs made its name on Central Avenue -- at 1944 Central in the early 1940s, then at 1902 Central from 1951 into the 1990s -- under longtime owner Merlyn "Spike" Weber, a legend in Dubuque's bowling scene. Weber sponsored more than 200 bowling teams over the years, sent 28 squads to the ABC national tournament and 45 to the Iowa state tournament, and even created the bar's own signature mixed-doubles bowling competition, cementing King of Clubs as a hub for Dubuque bowlers for decades.
