Audubon Hawks Elementary School
This design is one-of-a-kind and found only at Dubuque Clothing Co. — the Audubon Hawks Elementary School design is printed on a premium tee with high-quality, soft inks built to last.
Originally known as the Fifth Ward School, the building was renamed Audubon — after famed naturalist and painter John James Audubon — on December 23, 1889, when the school board decided to name all its buildings after notable Americans. The current Audubon School dates to 1973 and made its own bit of history as the first public building in Iowa bid under the "design-bid" concept, pairing architects and contractors as one team from the start. Generations of Dubuque Hawks have called it home ever since.
