Dubuque, Iowa Script Vintage Sign
This design is one-of-a-kind and found only at Dubuque Clothing Co. — the Dubuque, Iowa Script Vintage Sign is handcrafted using premium materials with high-quality, soft inks built to last.
Dimensions: 19" x 9"
The sign is made from reclaimed wood salvaged from old barns in Iowa, which gives it a rustic and authentic charm. The wood is then carefully cut and sanded to perfection.
The name on this sign goes back further than the state of Iowa itself. The city's namesake, Julien Dubuque, secured mining rights from the Meskwaki people in 1788 and settled near Catfish Creek, making the area one of the first spots of European settlement west of the Mississippi. It wasn't until 1833, after his land was opened to American settlement, that miners and settlers moved in and began building the town that would carry his name — giving Dubuque a head start of years on most of the rest of Iowa.
