Dubuque Pickle Ball Social Club Hoodie
The Dubuque Pickle Ball Social Club Hoodie features a design created exclusively for Dubuque Clothing Co., printed on a premium fleece hoodie with soft, high-quality inks built to last.
Long before it reached Dubuque, pickleball got its start in the summer of 1965 on Bainbridge Island, Washington, invented by Joel Pritchard, Bill Bell, and Barney McCallum as a backyard game for their kids. Joel's wife Joan named it days later after the "pickle boat" of leftover rowers in crew racing - not, contrary to popular legend, after the family dog Pickles, who wasn't even born until 1968. Six decades and one very good name later, it's one of the fastest-growing sports in Dubuque.
