The Mathias Ham House Vintage T-Shirt features a design found only at Dubuque Clothing Co., printed on a premium tee with soft, high-quality inks built to last.
Built in 1857 for lead-mining businessman Mathias Ham -- who once owned his own island in the Mississippi -- the Ham House was designed in the Italian Villa style by architect John F. Rague, the same architect behind the original state capitol buildings in both Springfield, Illinois and Iowa City, Iowa. The property also holds the Louis Arriandeaux Log House, built in 1833 and considered Iowa's oldest standing building, and the whole site now operates as a Dubuque County Historical Society museum showcasing antebellum-era life.
