Wahlert Golden Eagles Catholic High School Throwback Hoodie
The Wahlert Golden Eagles Catholic High School Throwback Hoodie features a design available only at Dubuque Clothing Co., printed on a premium hoodie with soft, high-quality inks built to last.
Wahlert exists because two older Dubuque Catholic schools, Loras and St. Columbkille, simply couldn't keep up with the post-World War II baby boom. In June 1955, Archbishop Leo Binz met with parish pastors and decided the aging, overcrowded buildings needed to be replaced with one new central high school. The resulting 222,000-square-foot building near Kane and Chaney Streets cost roughly $3.25 million to build, and in 2005 the campus expanded again with the Mazzuchelli project, converting the west wing into a shared middle school that opened in 2006.
